Features of Department

Integrate the school's Institute of Technology and the Institute of Biological Resources Department, the development of biomedical materials with characteristics of the care and rehabilitation medical material design, biomaterials and medical aids group lessons and teaching materials. The relevant courses and teaching materials, teachers and students can interact through and learn the process of consulting the members involved with the development of a set of integrated medical engineering disciplines, human factors engineering, biomedical materials,

bio-materials, product design, computer-aided medical group lessons and teaching aids to enhance teaching quality and student learning.

 

In addition to this student to attend compulsory basic course materials, but according to their interest in other elective courses or special programs of academic programs in the second year onwards, including elementary curriculum and a variety of practical applications of prospective areas of the curriculum materials to expand horizons and as the cornerstone of the industry into the future. With the development of bio-medical materials, medical aids home care design, teaching characteristic long-term care medical equipment design, manufacturing and testing purposes. In conjunction with physicians, professors together the industry division computer-aided creative design, 3D printing, manufacturing technology, surface treatment and detection of skills. And hospital internships with companies signed a contract to allow students to hospital trainee, students can personally for the implementation of long-term care medical device design and manufacturing. The teacher led the students to participate in the "International Exhibition of Inventions", expand international perspective and get "your investment industry."
